Hot/Spicy
Day
“Hot/Spicy
Day” would be the last activity for this week. “Sour Day” would be on
next Tuesday, 10th June, 2014.
I’m doubtful of what kind of
food would the children bring for today’s theme as most of the children don’t
take spicy food. However, we do have a variety of food when all the children
brought it out today.
Edmund: 2 packets of Nasi
Lemak (with chili sambal in it)
Pin Jee: 2 curry puff
Yi Xuan: Spicy Sensation
potato chips
Yee Hin: Hacks’ sweets
Ee Wern: Spicy tapioca slice
Zen Hong: Mentos Sweets
(Note:
I also prepared Nasi Lemak with the chili sambal separated and a packet of Spicy
Sausage Twisties)
The children got excited when
they saw those foods on the table and started to tell their friends what were
the food that they were dare to eat.
As expected that only about
5-6 children dare to try out the Nasi Lemak with chili sambal whiles the rest
only takes the rice without the chili sambal. Yet, I could see that the
children are quite daring to try out the hot/spicy food. They needed to prepare
some extra water to stand by just in case. The feast took us quite some time and
we didn’t get to do the poster today.
