Field Trip – To Tesco Supermarket

Field Trip – To Tesco Supermarket

The children got up at around 2:30pm from their afternoon nap and they were ready to go to Tesco Supermarket to shop for the tuna sandwich ingredients’.

Thong Xuan: I’m so exciting. (I told her is “excited” and I asked her why.)

Thong Xuan: Because we are going for shopping!

We headed for Tesco supermarket around 2:45pm. We reached there about 15 minutes later. First, we headed for the bakery session to look for bread. Edmund & Jayden were in charged of it. Easily they spotted the bread. 

Edmund found the bread and put it into the trolley.

After that, we headed to the fresh vegetables and fruits department to look for lettuce and tomatoes. Pin Jee & Yi Fai felt happy when they found the lettuce. On the other hand, Huey Xin & Yee Hin got a bit confused with the tomatoes as most of them were quite raw. All the children helped to look for the red, ripe tomatoes.

"Look at the lettuce,"Teacher Ng said.

"Pick the red and nice one," Teacher Ng said.

Yee Hin: Can we take this?

Then, Zen Hong & Kai Heng are looking for cheese. They were amazed with all sorts of choices and not sure what to choose. We all help to look for the suitable cheese we needed.

Which cheese to buy?

Lastly, Yi Xuan, Thong Xuan & Ee Wern needed to look for tuna. We moved to the canned food department. They were distracted by others canned food. However, they still managed to spot the tuna. We bought 2 difference types of tuna.

The group is discussing which to pick.

We headed back to the school around 4:15pm. Wow, shopping is really fun!
