Colour – Red

I asked the children to bring anything red from home to share with their classmates. Unfortunately none of them brought any. So we just carried on with our activity today.

This week we are focusing on “red: colour. We went through a book about colours from all shades and things in red.

Then we discussed the story about “Little Red Riding Hood”. I introduced the main character in the story – Little Red Riding Hood, granny, the wolf and the wood cutter. The children try to tell the story yet, most of them only remember the wolf and not other parts of the story.

I take this opportunity to play them a short video about the story of the “Little Red Riding Hood”.
