We had done quite
some on red, therefore, we move on to the next colour on the rainbow – orange.
With the rainbow water paint that the children did the other day, they could
remember the combination of orange – red & yellow.
Art Work – Orange (Palm Printing)
I prepared 2 main
colours – red & yellow and a piece of white paper for each of the children.
First, I painted one of their hand with red and then I painted the other hand
with yellow. They printed their hands on the paper separately. After that, they
rubbed their hands together. They were amazed to see the changes of colours on
their palm.
Then, they printed
the orange coloured palm on the paper.
Book Sharing – Little Pip and the Rainbow Wish by Elizabeth Baguley & Caroline Pedler
Little
Pip is a little mouse. He is a shy little mouse. He’d love to play with his
friends – Miley and Spike. But he doesn’t know how to ask. If only he had
something to give them so that they would be his friends. Then Pip sees a
rainbow. What a wonderful present that would be! But the rainbow is so far away
and, as hard as, Pip tries, he can’t quite reach it.
How
he could get the rainbow for his friends? This inspiring tale is of courage and
friendship.
