Book sharing and fun fact about octopus

Today, I brought in some reading book with them that describing about the different shape and sizes of sea creatures such as long, spiny, scary etc.

Then, I played them a video about the fun facts of octopus. I played the video twice with detail explanation on the first time and wanted them to be more attentive when watching for the second time.

After the video, I get the children to retell the facts that they remember from the video.

Here were some of their answers:

Khai Hann: Octopus can hide.
Yen Rou: Big octopus can eat shark.
Yi Rou: The octopus can go through the small hole.
Shan Lin: The octopus' blood is blue.
Khai Hann: Some octopus is sticky.
Yen Rou: Shak comes, octopus spit ink.
Gaby: Octopus is shy.
Yi Rou: Shark can eat octopus.
Yen Rou: Octopus can change colour.
Shan Lin: One tentacles drop, can grow back.
Gaby: Octopus can see very well.
Shan Lin: Octopus cannot hear.
Shan Lin: Some octopuses are poisonous.
