New Chapter: White Colour

New Chapter: White Colour

I knew that the children were quite interested with white colour. The children didn’t do any voting this time for white colour. Besides that, the children voiced out there are also a few more colours that they were interested to explore: grey, silver and pink. Therefore, we decided that we shall explore all those colours and that shall end our colour theme by then.

Today, we went through the white colour items that the children could tell. These were their answer:

Ei Jay: T-Shirt, cloth, book

Phey Zheng: milk

Li Heng: door, chair

Yi Jie: wall

Emerson: egg, egg white

Xin Yi: paper, tissue paper, whiteboard

Yee Jie: rice, cat

Kern Ee: cloud, colour pencil, car, snow

Zhen Yu: clock

Kwan Ming: sheep, snow leopard, goat, cow

Then I allowed some free time for the children to search for white colour items from the story books or any books that they were reading. The children were quite alert when they encountered white colour animals or things in the books and wanted to share with their friends or even myself.
