Which year were you born in?

Today we had a discussion about the Chinese Zodiac of each year. The children could name it out quite precisely. Then, some even could tell me that year 2016 is the year of Monkey. A small group of them could remember that they were born in the year of Rabbit.

Therefore, I used this chance to talk about monkey and rabbit.

Children: Monkey eat banana.......eat fruits........eat watermelon......
Teacher: Oh, monkey eats watermelon.
Children: Yes, monkey eats a lot........
Teacher: What can monkey do?
Children: Jump......monkey eat nuts

Teacher: What about rabbit?
Children: Rabbit eat carrot......rabbit jump......white colour......
Teacher: Yes, rabbit can hop hop hop....
Children: Rabbit eat jagung (corn)......eat 包菜 (cabbage)

We shall talk about the sequence of the Chinese Zodiac tomorrow.
