Fats & Voting for New Topic

Oil, sugar and salt are placed at the top of the food pyramid. We read through some information about sodium and fats. The children were told not to take too much of these food to stay healthy.

Some of the children wanted to change the theme and they kept asking for it. Therefore, I get the agreement from the class if they would like to move on to another new theme. They agreed.

So, they started to suggest for topic. This time, they were much better in giving ideas on topic. They had suggested 6 topic to vote for: insect, colours, transportation, games/races, frozen and animals. They children could vote for 3 times. Finally, colours got the most votes from the children.

With this, I quickly get the children to vote for a name for our new topic. This time, they could only choose one. At last, "Rainbow Colours" is the new name for our new theme which will start on 1st July 2015.
