Art Work - Black Picture

I promised the children that we will carry out an interesting art work when we come to black colour. Today, I have prepare a small sheet of drawing paper for each of them. Then, on each table I placed all sorts of crayons for the children to colour on their drawing paper.

The children needed to use all sorts of colourful crayons except for black to colour on their drawing paper. Once they have done, they will use the black colour crayons to cover all the colourful colours that they have colour. After that, each of them will get a long bamboo cocktail stick to start drawing pictures on the black colour layer.

The children were amazed to see the effect of it. Only a few of them managed to get a cocktail stick just right before I leave the room. Therefore, we might have to continue with the activity next week.
